Commencing in 1978, principals of the Firm guided a large percentage of the 100 international banks entering the Miami market between 1978 – 1982. This market entry evolved to acquisition of domestic banks by the non-United States banks evolving in to private banking and wealth management. As part of wealth management, we have a focus on off-shore and on-shore asset & wealth structures involving United States and non-United States wealth preservation and risk management structures.
A substantial part of our activities is a “project practice” with a results orientation focused in the areas of managing IPOs, M&A, bank financings, important regulatory issues, transactions, technology, investments, finance, wealth planning & risk asset protection, and fiduciary structures [domestic & international], with a focus on (i) Clients entering and developing or exiting markets, and (ii) capturing opportunities or critical situations or niche opportunities outside of their home country or market, including the United States market.
